The calibrant is approximately 650 microliters of an aqueous-based isotonic buffer solution of known electrolyte and urea concentrations.\nThe calibrant gel and the moisture source in the package contain PROCLINTM 300 (5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one) as a preservative.
